I can't be the only person in the world with "doom" piles, I have a basket of doom to house my keys, phone, wallet, elastic bands, change.... well anything found in my pocket that does not have an immediately apparent home. I'm beurospectacular so once they enter a doom pile, that's it, that's their home. This Doom Dish is a desperate attempt to have an attractive spot to put my keys, big enough for them and not much else so for me this is PERFECT!

This is the most beginner friendly cake & ale pattern and would make a wonderful introduction to English Paper Piecing. Perfect for using up scraps in your stash or that fat quarter you never knew what to create with, or a great reason to pick out a few more pre-cuts.
As you can see in the photos you can have a single hexie base or cut it up to create your own unique design.
